Wilton Sampaio is a Brazilian football referee who is a listed international referee for FIFA since 2013. The Brazilian most recently officiated at the 2021 Copa América.

Sampaio has officiated at several competitions including the South America World Cup 2022 Qualifiers, the Arab Nations Cup, the Brazil Cup, the Copa Sudamericana and the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.

In May 2022, Sampaio was appointed as one of the referees to officiate at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He is one of the seven referees at the 2022 FIFA World Cup from the South American Football Confederation. The others include Raphael Claus (Brazil), Andres Matias Matonte Cabrera (Uruguay), Kevin Ortega of Peru, Jesus Valenzuela (Venezuela), Fernando Rapallini (Argentina) and Facundo Tello (Argentina).
