Jesus Valenzuela is a Venezuelan professional football referee who is a listed international referee for FIFA since 2013. He has also been an international video match official for FIFA since 2021.

He has been a referee in the Venezuelan Primera División since 2011. He has also officiated in the CONMEBOL. In July 2021, he officiated the infamous semi-final between Colombia and Argentina in the Copa América, in which Valenzuela dished out 10 yellow cards.

On 14 December 2021, Valenzuela was awarded as CONMEBOL’s best referee at the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) Men’s Continental Awards 2021.

In May 2022, Valenzuela was appointed as one of the 36 referees for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
