Noodle Britain’s Got Talent

Singing Cat Noodle is a contestant in the sixteenth series of Britain’s Got Talent. He belted out Nina Simone’s classic Feeling Good during his Britain’s Got Talent audition on 29 April 2023.

The cat baffled judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli when they first took to the stage and fans at home couldn’t work out what the judges were even looking at on stage when Noodle performed.

The judges were all in awe with the singing animated feline and put them through to the next round.

Before his performance, Noodle told the judges: “I wanted to come and audition for Britain’s Got Talent because there are so many dogs made famous by the show. I thought it was time you see a talented cat.”

After the audition, an impressed Bruno Tonioli said: “You must be Michael Bublé’s pussycat, those vocals were insane.”

Simon Cowell said: “I’ve always said a singing animal would win Britain’s Got Talent, I didn’t necessarily believe it. I never thought one day I would be talking to a cat saying how much I love your singing voice but I am. And I think Noodle you could possibly win the show.”

Simon and Bruno in particular were stumped as to who the singer behind Noodle was. Several BGT fans are convinced they’ve worked out Noodle’s true singing voice as former finalist Tom Ball. Tom finished in third place in the competition in 2022 behind Axel Blake and runner-up Jamie Leahey. He even went on to appear on America’s Got Talent: All Stars earlier in 2023, reuniting with Simon once more.

Viewers also suggested the singing animated cat might be McFly’s Tom Fletcher, actor Taron Egerton and former BGT star Marc Spelmann.
