MB14, real name Mohamed Belkhir, is a French beatboxer and vocalist. He is a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) 2023. He first rose to fame on “The Voice France” in 2016, followed by “The Voice France All Stars” in 2021.

The French beatboxer is a former member of the beatbox group Berywam. He joined the group in 2015. During his time with the group, Berywam participate in the French Beatbox Championship in 2015 and 2016, finishing in second and first respectively. In 2018, the group became the champion of the 5th International Beatbox Battle. He left the group in 2019 to pursue his solo career.

The French beatboxer finished third place in the Loop Station Category The Grand Beatbox Battle in 2017. He won first place Tag Team at World Beatbox Camp in 2018 and 2019. He recently made his debut in the 2022 film Tènor.

Mohamed Belkhir, known by his stage name MB14, is a contestant in the 16th season of Britain’s Got Talent. In his audition, he wowed the judges with his loop pedal performance.

The 28-year-old French vocalist got off to a humorous start with the four judges – Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell – when they asked how he had got there and he joked he had taken the Eurostar from France.

He then performed his song, made entirely with his voice and the help of a loop pedal, which slowly built up step by step until it resembled a complete track, leaving everyone stunned.

The four judges were impressed when it came together and soon they were dancing along. They then gave Mohamed a standing ovation.

As the act ended, Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly ran from the side of the stage and down to the judges’ table where they pressed the golden buzzer together.

Mohamed Belkhir The Voice

Mohamed Belkhir was a contestant on “The Voice France” in 2016. He used a beatbox loopstation to literally create his own track on stage during his season five audition. He did a rendition of “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio for his audition. Three coaches turned their chairs for him but he ultimately decided to be a member of Team Zazie.

During the Battle Round, MB14 went head to head against Derya Yildirim singing Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River.” He won the battle.

Further down the competition, he was stolen by coach Mika. He later performed a groundbreaking rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” where he mimicked the sounds an electric guitar with his mouth.

In the finale, MB14 took on the song “In The Air Tonight.” He finished in second place and signed a record deal with Polydor, which he later left. He went on to compete in an All Stars version in 2021.
