Moozlie born Nomuzi Mabena, is a South African rapper and television presenter.
She attended St Dunstan’s College in Benoni. After matriculating from St Dunstan’s College, she went on to the Varsity College in Sandton for a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences. After she was selected by MTV Base VJ Search in 2012, she left the Varsity College to focus on her career in entertainment.
Before winning the MTV Base VJ Search, Nomuzi Mabena first got the attention of South Africans as one of the Top 2 Finalists in the SABC 1 Live Presenter Search. She was also one of the Top 6 finalists in the Media Career Guide Presenter Search.
Nomuzi also had a short run on an internet radio station called “Rhythm 100” with a weekly radio show entitled “The Lipgloss Diaries”.
In 2014, Nomuzi was nominated for the GLAMOUR MAGAZINE WOMEN OF THE YEAR READER’S CHOICE AWARDS; she was also part of the MARIE CLAIRE NAKED ISSUE 2014 to raise funds feeding 4 Million South African children. Also in 2014, she hosted the red carpet of the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
