Mihlali Ndamase is a South African YouTuber, make-up artist, social media influencer and co-founder of Siyasizana Foundation. She was motivated to start her own Youtube channel after watching YouTube channels by Aaliyah Jay, Nicole Guerrero and Nikki tutorials.
As an influencer, YouTube content creator behind her eponymous YouTube channel and professional makeup artist, she has worked with major brands such as MAC Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Bernini, Benefit Cosmetics, NYX Professional Makeup, Bobbi Brown, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Samsung, TRESemmè, Mimco, Nedbank, Vodacom, Spotify, and Superbalist.
Mihlali co-founded Siyasizana Foundation, a non-profit organisation with Dineo Nono in 2017. She told Ayana Magazine in an August-2019 interview, “Dineo Nono and I were following each other on Twitter. One day I tweeted asking if anyone knows a shelter where I can donate shoes and she responded. That’s when we realised that we have the same passion for giving back – thus the formation of Siyasizana Foundation.”
According to the foundation’s website, Siyasizana Foundation is a “South African based NGO focused on improving the living conditions of the underprivileged through various projects aimed at education, health and fun.”
Its Mission is “to provide long-term assistance that allows for independent sustainability from those impacted with the projects conducted.” Its vision is “To empower and assist the underprivileged and vulnerable through projects that will provide necessities such as school stationery, sanitary products, food, clothing and books.”
