Paula Reto is a South African professional golfer who is currently competing on the U.S based LPGA Tour. Reto started playing golf at the age of 16 years old. She graduated from Coral Springs, Florida. She went on to join Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. While at Purdue she played collegiate golf and was named a 2013 First-Team All-American by GWCA after her senior season. Reto earned an individual third-place finish at the 2013 NCAA Championships and was named the 2013 Mary Fossum Award winner for low stroke average in the Big Ten Conference. She was a member of the 2010 NCAA National Championship team, while at Purdue University.
Reto turned professional in June 2013 and played on the Symetra Tour. She qualified for the LPGA Tour after finishing T13 at the 2013 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn Priority List Category 12 for the 2014 LPGA Tour season. In 2014, she played 20 events on the LPGA Tour and made 9 cuts, she also recorded 2 top-10 finishes and a season-best of 3rd at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic.
