Cadi Froehlich Biography – Cadi Froehlich Wiki
Cadi Froehlich is a British artist and ceramicist whose practice explores the physicality of exchanges between people, objects and material. She is a contestant on The Great Pottery Throw Down 2024.
By combining ceramics, salvaged copper, cables and electrical components, her work investigates the hidden infrastructure of the interaction between these things, often highlighting the dichotomy between the drive to improve connections and the costs of the commodification of resources and self.
Recent exhibitions include Miniscule, Venice, In the Dark, London, PROTOCOL, The London Group at St Ives, The Mesh at Watermans in London, and Shoreham Sculpture Trail.
Her work is held in public and private collections including the Chelsea College special collection, London.
Cadi is a member of the London Group, and was a recipient of the London Group Members Prize 2016. She also received the Red Mansion Prize 2015, AxisWeb MAStars 2013 and won 2nd Prize in the Jerwood Drawing Competition 2010.
Cadi holds an MA in Fine Art from UAL Camberwell and Chelsea, a degree in Fine Art from Brighton, and graduated with honours from Los Altos college, California.

Cadi picked up pottery again recently as she felt it was finally time for her to prioritise herself rather than what pays the bills. When she’s not throwing pots, she can be found swimming in the sea, hiking up hills or working at her friend’s record label.
