RLetto Biography – RLetto Wiki

RLetto born Reggie Lett is a pop singer, songwriter, and entertainer from Orlando, Florida. He is a contestant on season 25 of The Voice.

RLETTO took on band, choir, and drama early in high school and then auditioned for Berklee College of Music, where he received a scholarship that granted him 75% of the funding for his four-year program.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2018, Rletto has continued to further his career as a performer with plans on moving to Atlanta, GA the start of 2019. With graphic visual displays, intense choreography, and electrifying music, Rletto gives a reason to dance, sing, enjoy, and stay until the very end.

He started to book large music festivals, music video shoots, and recording sessions to establish a name for himself, all while saving money to move to Los Angeles. RLETTO has now been in L.A. since 2022 and has had the honor of working as a talent assistant for MTV Push, Cardi B, Lil Nas X, BET, and more.

Rletto has performed with members of Beyonce’s all-original female band, Lucius the Band, Rosanne Cash, and many more.

He has eight singles, beginning with “I’m Rising” in 2018. His most recent release was a song called “Psycho” from February 2022. There is also a music video for “Psycho” and a 2020 single called “Moonlight.”

He has had performances at New York’s Pride Festival in 2019 and 2023. He has also toured the New England area, performing with a Boston-based corporate band, according to that bio.

Rletto told The Voice he got involved in music thanks largely to his grandmother, who he’d watch sing in the church choir growing up.

He also said he’s getting more into melodic rap and combining that with his style of pop. “If Doja Cat and The Weeknd had a baby, it would be me,” he told the show.

He performed a dynamic cover of “Golden Hour” by JVKE and got a Two-Chair Turn from Chance and Reba McEntire. Dan + Shay stayed on the sidelines but had nothing but love for RLETTO’s smooth vocal runs (plus his “awesome” red leather outfit), while John Legend admitted he came this close to hitting the big red button.

“That was such a cool performance!” Legend said afterward, with perhaps just a twitch of too-late regret. “I was right on the brink, but I feel like you have so many gifts that you’re, like, still honing and just need a little bit more tightening. But you’re already on The Voice — so that’s exciting!”

Chance said, “I was the first to turn — sorry, Reba!” he teased in an early bid to win the Artist over to his team. “You’re a powerhouse vocalist. All the runs, to me, felt extremely intentional. I didn’t really see a point where you lost control. I like doing big songs, so if I can be that Coach for you — I wanna be that!”

McEntire agreed when it came to RLETTO’s smooth style. “I loved your runs; I loved your vocals,” she said. “It was a wonderful performance and I would love to have you on Team Reba!”

In the end, it was Chance who got the win. Chance commented, “reminds me a lot of myself. I’m very into the performance, galvanizing a crowd and getting them wrapped up in the emotion. He seems to be a real performer; a star!”

RLETTO’s cool red costume — matched by his infectious audience appeal — probably didn’t hurt, either: “He looks like Michael Jackson in the ‘Thriller’ video!” said Chance.
