Alyssa Crosby is an American singer and a contestant on The Voice season 25 which is aired on NBC.

She is a 32-year-old singer and self-professed “crazy cat lady” from the Binghamton, N.Y. area. About those cats, she has five.

She is a vocalist with WildCard, a quite active Broome County, N.Y., cover band that plays hits from the 1970s to today, according to its Facebook page.

Singer Alyssa has also performed with Grown Ups, an indie band that has released original music, and Masterpiece, a dance and easy-listening band.

Currently, she is booking acoustic shows with fellow musician Nick Gacioch. They performed their first acoustic show together in late January.

Alyssa also released a single — a cover of Miley Cyrus’s “Used to Be Young” — in early January. It’s the only song she has available on streaming sites.

“It’s a song that’s really meaningful to me because a lot has changed in my life in the last few years. And the person I am today isn’t exactly the person I was many years ago. I’ve made a lot of changes in my life and this song really resonates with me.”

John complimented her on moments that were “so powerful and so strong” and predicted she could do well on the show. Reba said Alyssa has a great voice and added that Alyssa has a soulful sound she fell in love with.

In the Battles round, she was up against Asher HaVon and lost the battle. However, she was stolen by coach Chance the Rapper.
