Kathy Hanretty is a Nottinghamshire-based skating coach. She is the wife of Mark Hanretty, a professional skater choreographer and ice dancer from Glasgow, Scotland. Mark is well known for his appearances on ITV’s Dancing on Ice show. Together with her husband Mark, she works as an ice skating coach at Hanretty Skate Camps. They have hosted the ice training camps for more than a decade.

As a professional skater and an ice dancer, Mark has represented the United Kingdom with his former ice dance partner Christina Chitwood. Mark and Christina Chitwood are two-time British medalists and competed at the 2009 European Championships, finishing in 18th place.
