Jaycee Leddra is a furniture upcycler, abstract artist and therapeutic art coach. The Storrington artist was featured on season 2 of “Make It At Market” on BBC1. She is the owner of Bea Bold By Jaycee, the home of creative art boxes and therapeutic art workshops. It started as a furniture upcycling business.

Jaycee, a West Sussex dweller originally from the beautiful Isle of Wight, studied Sociology at the University of Northampton. She also holds Mental Health First Aid qualification and Therapeutic Art Life Coach certification.

Jaycee Leddra is one of 30 fantastic talented makers featured in series 2 of BBC One’s Make it at Market, presented by Dominic Chinea. Ex-HR worker Jaycee made the brave decision to give up the day job to concentrate full time on her upcycling business and hopes that Dom and his team of mentors can help.

She announced her participation in the hit BBC series on Instagram, writing: “You may have seen a lot of announcements recently about who’s appearing on series 2 of Make it at Market! My episode is being broadcast on 30th November! The whole of series 2 is starting on 27th!

“I feel mixed emotions of nervousness and excitement! A massive amount of thanks to the people I filmed with, @flabbergastproductions for creating the show, @mucknbrass for mentoring me and @dominicchinea for just being the most lovely presenter! Enjoy the show peeps!”

Reflecting on her experience, Jaycee told Sussex World: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience on ‘Make It At Market.’ It’s been a great process to be involved in, and I really feel like I’ve grown as a person and within my business.”
