Ervinas Merfeldas is a ballroom and Latin dancer and choreographer from Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland. He is an All-Ireland champion Latin dancer. In December 2021, it was announced that Merfeldas will be among the five new professional dancers set to join the 5th series of the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars. Other new pro dancers include Hannah Kelly, Salome Chachua, Denys Samson, and Maurizio Benenato.
Merfeldas started dancing when he was six years old. He is trained in ballroom and Latin dancing. He has been dancing competitively for the last ten years. In 2017, Merfeldas and his then dance partner Gabija Raciute finished in fifth place in the British Dance Federation Junior Latin Championships. He has represented Ireland in several competitions in different countries including China, Russia, Austria, the Netherlands, and Italy.

Merfeldas is excited to join the Irish show, speaking about joining the DWTS, he said, “I am so excited to be part of the show. Dancing has been a huge part of my life, and to be able to show it off on the main stage, I honestly can’t wait for it”. He made his DWTS debut in January 2022 partnered with Missy Keating a renowned Model and influencer.
