Roy Horgan is an Irish businessperson and is the current CEO of SES-imagotag plc for the UK and Ireland. He is best known for being Angela Scanlon’s husband.
Angela Scanlon is an Irish television presenter and broadcaster for RTÉ and the BBC. She started by broadcasting on Irish television, presenting a number of programmes on RTÉ including the documentary Oi Ginger! in 2014. In August 2023, Scanlon was announced as a contestant on the twenty-first series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Horgan has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance, a Diploma in Stockbroking, and a Diploma in International Selling. His career started in corporate banking. By the time he left banking in 2006, he had managed and invested €2 billion in various assets across Europe and North America.
At the age of 27, Roy co-founded a dye-sensitized solar cell firm, SolarPrint. SolarPrint specializes in the development of self-powered indoor sensors. He later founded MarketHub Technologies Limited in 2013.
It was later acquired by a French digital pricing company SES-imagotag plc.
