Mark Moseley is the owner of a pest control business and candidate on The Apprentice 2023. Mark is the founder and Owner of PestGone Environmental Ltd, an award winning Pest Control and Environmental Services company run by military veterans covering London & the South East.

Mark is a former soldier who has worked all over the world in remote and hostile environments. He was a Combat Engineer with the British Army from Dec 1999 – May 2008.

Having spent so many years overseas operating in hostile environments when in the military and then in the private security sector, it seemed a natural progression to start a company that oversees and protects people, as well as some of London’s well known buildings and hotels from unwanted visitors (pests).

He has previously worked as a Technician and Health & Safety Advisor at Combat Pest Control Ltd, Construction Project Manager and Electrician at Dynasystems, as well as Electrician at Turner Facilities Management and at EIATUK LTD.

What is your USP?

My USP is that I’m very talkative with the charm to match – I can sell to anyone. I’ve been around the world and have met hundreds of different people, from members of the royal family to celebrities. I can always speak to them in a confident manner, so I know I’d be right at home negotiating and securing deals with some of the biggest brands.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is that I can be a little bit over-confident from time to time. I may jump ahead of the game, but at the same time people like confident people, people buy into confidence. And that’s why people buy into me.

Why do you deserve Lord Sugar’s investment?

I deserve Lord Sugar’s investment because the pest control industry is worth hundreds of millions of pounds a year in the UK. Out of all the candidates on paper, I am the one who can grow the business the quickest. If Lord Sugar doesn’t pick me, then he’s missing a trick.
