Lindy Duncan is an American professional golfer, she currently plays on the LPGA Tour. Born Lee Angelica Lopez was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. Lindy started playing golf at the age of 9 years old. She graduated from American Heritage in Plantation, Florida. She went on to join Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where she majored in psychology. Lindy played collegiate golf at Duke University and recorded six wins. Lindy was a four-time first-team All-American and was named the 2012 NGCA Player of the Year. In 2008, Lindy won the Florida Girl’s State Championship and the Dixie Amateur, in 2010. She was a member of the 2012 U.S. Curtis Cup Team.
Lindy turned professional in June 2013 and played on the Symetra Tour road to the LPGA where she recorded three top-10 finishes in seven events. She finished tied for 38th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn Priority List Category 17 for the 2014 LPGA Tour season. In 2015, she finished T15 at the 2015 Final LPGA Qualifying Tournament to earn LPGA membership for the 2016 season. She played 20 events and made 14 cuts in 2016. In 2018, she recorded a career-high three top-10 results, including a career-best runner-up finish at the Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic. When she is not playing golf, Lindy enjoys music, movies, and sleeping. Lindy is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States.
