John Nolan Biography – John Nolan Wiki
John Nolan is a professional dancer and choreographer from Kilkenny, Ireland. On 24 March 2019, Nolan was named the Dancing with the Stars champion alongside his then DWTS partner Mairéad Ronan. He is also an Irish national ballroom and showdance champion and he has represented his country, Ireland at World and European Championships. In December 2021, it was announced that he will return for the 5th series of Dancing with the Stars in 2022.
Nolan started dancing at an early age and by the time he was 3 years, he was already learning ballet, Irish dancing, and set dancing. When he was six years old he decided to take ballroom and he has had much success as a ballroom dancer. He has also been working as a dance teacher for the last decade and he’s currently a teacher at Xquisite Dance. Xquisite Dance group took part in the 2018 Ireland’s Got Talent. The group received Denise Van Outen’s Golden Buzzer during their audition and they went on to finish as runners-up in the grand final.

Nolan has appeared several times in the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars. He made his Dwts debut in 2017 as a professional dancer partnered with Teresa Mannion, Teresa Mannion, an Irish journalist, and broadcaster. The couple was eliminated in week 8 and finished in 7th place. Nolan returned in 2018 partnered with Deirdre O’Kane. The couple made it to the grand finale but they finished as joint-runners up alongside, Anna Geary and Strictly Come Dancing star, Kai Widdrington.
In 2019, he returned for his third series partnered with Mairéad Ronan. On 24 March 2019, the couple was named champions. In 2020, he returned for his 4th series partnered with Mary Kennedy. The couple finished in 6th place. In December 2021, it was announced that Nolan will take part in the 5th series of Dancing with the Stars (Ireland). Nolan is partnered with television presenter, Gráinne Seoige.
