Helen Gardiner is an antiques dealer and TV personality, known for her appearance on ITV’s Dickinson’s Real Deal. She is the owner of Gardiner & Gardiner Antiques Northern Style, an antique shop in the beautiful historic town of Cromarty in the Highlands of Scotland. This period shop sees Helen bring to fruition her 45 years in Antiques & Style.
Helen is also the owner of Kelpies Cottage, a self-catering cottage in Cromarty, Scotland. Kelpies was once owned and restored by one of Scotland’s leading conservationists. A most charming example of traditional, vernacular architecture, it can sleep 4/5 persons comfortably and is 30 seconds walk from the sea. The gem is, at times, available for rent.

A statement said: “Helen is our second Dealer joining us for this Saturday the 14th of August, where we will be filming the new series of Dickinson’s Real Deal at the Norbreck Castle. Doors open from 8 am, bring down all your antiques, gold and silver and anything else you might find in your grandma’s attic.”
Highland Hospice
In October 2022, Helen visited Highland Hospice’s Dornoch shop. She the charity’s retail managers to test their knowledge, according to The Inverness Courier.
A spokesman said: “Helen brought some of her own antiques to test the managers’ knowledge, awarding Sheila from our Dornoch shop a jeweller’s loupe for her efforts.”
Sheila enjoyed the session and said: “We now have the tools we need to be more vigilant in keeping an eye out for antiques.”
Helen gave them some advice and said: “If it looks old it probably is.”
