If you had to pick three of the most important things you look for in a partner what would they be?

Drive: I want them to be passionate about something, whether it’s a job or enjoying trips to the zoo on Saturdays. I prefer a girl who is naturally good looking, and someone who has even more banter than me- although I don’t believe that’s physically possible. I think those three qualities make for a perfect mix in a partner.

If you had to pick three celebrities to be in the Villa with you as fellow Islanders who would they be and why?

I’m going to go with a little sweetheart called Megan Fox, if you’ve seen Transformers. The second would be Anne Hegerty from The Chase, I wouldn’t crack on with her but I’d have a laugh with her. I’d also like Nigella Lawson to cook something sexy.

Love Island contestant George Fensom was forced to apologise about a series of homophobic tweets in which he uses a homophobic slur and the word ‘gay’ as an insult. Since the tweets – which were posted in 2014, when George was 15 – were discovered, the account has been deleted from the social media platform.

The Bedford native said in a statement via Cosmopolitan: “I honestly just feel absolutely sick about those tweets. They are not who I am today, they couldn’t be any further from the man I am today and quite frankly, if I could turn back time I wouldn’t even have put those.

“To be honest with you, it’s me being really naive at that age. I made the account back in 2011, so it’s just stupidity on my behalf and doesn’t reflect on who I am today at all. We continue to learn now what is right and what is wrong. In regards to people saying that I’m not right for the villa, all I would say is this, everyone’s made mistakes.

“Everyone has said things that they regret. The difference in the way that I’ll defend myself is the way that I’m owning that and I’ve admitted that that was the wrong thing to say. And actually, if I could turn back time then I wouldn’t have said the things that I said.”
