Brynne Edelsten (born Brynne Mariah Gordon) is an American television personality, socialite, actress, and former fitness instructor. Brynne became a household name in 2009 when she married millionaire businessman Geoffrey Edelsten, who is 40 years her senior. They split in 2014. She chewed through all her savings in the years after their separation and declared bankruptcy in 2016.

The reality television star has appeared in reality TV programs including Dancing with the Stars (2011), Brynne: My Bedazzled Life (2012), Celebrity Splash (2013), and Brynne: My Bedazzled Diary (2014). She is soon to appear on Australian television screens when season 2 of SAS Australia airs on the Seven Network.

In May 2021, Brynne was arrested and charged with trafficking drugs and suspected proceeds of crime. In the Boronia home, police allege they found drugs, including methylamphetamine, as well as stolen property. Edelsten and a 39-year-old man were charged with a number of offences after police seized “what is believed to be magic mushrooms, methylamphetamine, prescription drugs and an allegedly stolen electric bike”. Edelston was initially questioned and released without charge. But the following day police did lay charges.

Victoria Police said in a statement: “After further inquiries were made the woman was arrested and charged with traffick methyl-amphetamine, possess methyl-amphetamine, use methyl-amphetamine and deal property suspected proceeds of crime.”

She was granted bail and will appear before Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on October 8, 2021. Edelsten told news.com.au, “Earlier this month, I was charged with criminal charges, I am shocked and saddened by these events and will be vigorously fighting all charges. I am very thankful for the support of the team around me and will not be making any further comment.”
