Tegan George is a journalist from Brisbane, Australia. She currently serves as a Federal Political Reporter at Network 10. She joined Network 10 in January 2011 as a Journalist and Producer. Tegan worked on Ten News at Five, Ten Early News, Ten Morning News, and shared EP role for Ten’s local weekend bulletin for almost two years.
She has been on leave since the middle of 2021. In 2022, she filed a case against Network 10 alleging that 10 breached the Fair Work Act. She went on to name Peter van Onselen Network 10’s political editor and several employees, in the claim. Reporter Louise Milligan said in a tweet: “Hoping Tegan George is OK. She later attended the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) where she earned her Bachelor of Journalism in 2006.
