She revealed this in an Instagram post in March 2022, writing, “For the past 10 years, I have suffered from progressive deafness and acute tinnitus. In 2018 my condition worsened to a profound level where I struggled to hear my kids and avoided talking to new people. I was in pieces both mentally and physically. I lost my dad, my rock, in 2020, which pushed me to the edge. I was at an all-time low and convinced that nothing good will come to me.

“Just as I was about to lose all hope, I came across @earsurgeonjoe Mr Joseph Manjaly, my ENT surgeon whom my husband and I consulted on my condition. Throughout the process leading to my bilateral Cochlear implant surgery in July 2021 at OneWelbeck, @earsurgeonjoe was professional, super supportive, helpful and provided me with the treatment options right for me. He helped me clear any doubts about the procedure and after-care support.

“The surgery has completely changed my life for the best. I cannot thank @earsurgeonjoe , Wayne, Liz, Debra and entire team enough to help me hear again and get back my confidence. I wish him and his team at @onewelbeck every success and to continue helping deaf people like me hear again.”
