Samidoh Biography – Samidoh Wiki
Samidoh real name Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu, is a Kikuyu musician. In 2009, Samidoh was a backup artiste at Kamande wa Kioi’s band. In 2016, he ventured fully into music.
His first song was “Ndiri mutwe mwega”. His other popular songs include, Kairitu Gakwa, Tuhii Twitu, Ihoya Ria Samidoh, Niwe Ndarathimiirwo, Ndiri Mutwe, Riari Itheru, Niwathire Naihenya, Wendo Na Urimu, Wendo Maguta, and Riari Itheru
He is an Administration Police officer. He was recruited to the National Police Service in October 2013. After 15 months of training, he graduated from the National Police College in 2014. His first operation was at Eastleigh, Nairobi after which he was posted to Mpeketoni, Lamu County. After serving in Mpeketoni, he was transferred to Dadaab, Garissa County, where served for about six years. He was recently transferred to Athi River, Machakos County where he’s based to-date.
He graduated with a diploma in Business and Information Technology from Kenya Polytechnic (now Technical University of Kenya).
He was born in Subukia, Nakuru County before relocating to Ol Jororok in Nyandarua. He is barely 30.
Samidoh Real Name
Samidoh’s real name is Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu.
He is married with children.
He grew up an orphan, as he lost his father when he was only three and later lost his mother after joining form one. He said in an interview about his mother, “the foundation my mother raised me up with was great and it has made me who I am right now because she was very strict.”
Samidoh in Hospital
He escaped unhurt after he was involved in an accident on Sunday 8 September 2019. The musician took to social media and posted a photo of his car with a dent. “It’s hard to understand how somethings happen. Thank you, God, you saved my kids and me.”
According to media personality Jeff Kuria, the singer did not have major injuries, although he went to Avenue Greenspan Hospital for check-up. The accident came weeks after Kikuyu benga musician John DeMathew died in an accident at Blue Post on August 18, 2019. DeMathew was pronounced dead on arrival at Thika Nursing Home. According to Thika Base Commander Elenah Wamuyu, Demathew’s car rammed into a lorry near Blue Post Hotel. He was alone in the car.
