Ryland Petty, also known as The Kid Magician, is a professional magician. He is known for his appearance on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) and America’s Got Talent (AGT). He is also the Co-Host of Magic TV which is one of the most well know magic review shows on YouTube.
Ryland started performing magic at the age of 2. His first show was at the age of 4. At the age of 10, Ryland auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent. He reached the semi-finals of the 15th series of Britain’s Got Talent.
Ryland has performed on stage at The Hammersmith Apollo, The London Palladium, The Winter Gardens in Blackpool, The Excel in London as well as smaller venues all over the UK. He has recently just completed a residency at The House Of Secrets in Blackpool as well as being invited to perform on stage with Oliver Tabor at The IBM Convention 2022. He was also invited to perform on The Gala Show at The world’s largest magic convention- The Blackpool Magic Convention.
Ryland is currently the co-host of The Magic Review Show with his dad Craig Petty. They review the latest and greatest magic products within The Magic Community. As well as being an excellent magician, Ryland is also an ambassador for Marvin’s Magic, the number one choice for magic products worldwide.

Ryland Petty Britain’s Got Talent
Ryland Petty was a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) 2022. During his audition for the ITV show, Ryland Petty invited judge Amanda Holden up on stage to participate in his audition. He asked the judge to pick a piece of paper out of a box, after explaining that they had various different emotions written on them.
Ryland gave Amanda a Rubik’s Cube sat down at a table. He asked her to play with it as he invited his friends from The Magic Circle Young Magicians’ Club onto the stage with their own Rubik’s Cubes.
As each of the participants placed their cubes in a framework, Ryland waited to the end to ask Amanda to place hers in there too. He asked her to confirm which word was written on the piece of paper she had picked out and she replied “Love”.
Ryland turned the framework around to reveal all of the Rubik’s cubes had matched up as a red heart against a white background. He then used his hands to gather up some smoke on the table that he and Amanda were sat at, and pulled a table cloth away to reveal the word ‘LOVE’ written in black.
His audition got a standing ovation from all four judges and the whole audience, with Simon Cowell famously saying that Ryland was one of the best magic acts to appear on BGT in 2022.
He once again got a standing ovation from all four judges and the entire audience in his semi final performance on Britain’s Got Talent. Alisha Dixon crowned Ryland ‘The King Of Cubes’ after this performance.

He is one of the acts set to perform during the fifth week of auditions on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, alongside Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, Barry Brewer Jr., Chen Lei, Erica Coffelt, Justin Jackson, Singer Lachune, novelty duo M, Ryan Hayashi, Sangsoon Kim, Sharpe Family Singers and Trailer Flowers.
