Piet Rampedi (born Piet Mahasha Rampedi) is a South African investigative journalist and Group Investigations Editor at Independent Media. He has been the Group Investigations Editor at Independent Media since March 2019 and a Talkshow Host at Capricorn Fm since November 2018. He has also been the African Times Editor and Publisher for Mohlakamotala Media (Pty) Ltd since April 2016.

Rampedi worked as the Senior Investigative Journalist at Sunday Times from May 2014 to April 2016. He was also the Investigations Editor, Group Political Editor, Senior Investigative Journalist at The Star, Independent Newspapers, and Sunday Independent from January 2012 from April 2014. From May 2008 to December 2011, he worked as a Limpopo Bureau Chief and Specialist Reporter at City Press. He was a TV News Reporter at SABC from September 2003 to April 2008.
