Peter Fournel is an experienced antique restoration and upholstery expert. He has been featured on BBC1’s Money For Nothing. He is the owner of Peter Fournel Antique Restoration and Upholstery, specialising in French Polishing, Upholstery and fine cabinet work.

Peter studied Antique Restoration at Rycotewood College, Oxfordshire and received an HND 1994-1996. He then worked in Sevenoaks as an antique furniture restorer from July 1995 to September 2004. During this time, he travelled abroad on numerous occasions restoring furniture in various British Embassies.

Established in 2005, Peter Fournel Antique Restoration offers a wide range of services, including The restoration of wood, Furniture repair, Upholstery, Fabric selection, Colour matching, and Finishing.

Antique Furniture restorer Peter Fournel is an artisan on BBC1’s Money For Nothing, presented by Sarah Moore and Jacqui Joseph. On his first episode on the BBC show, Peter restored and reupholstered a chaise longue in Series 7 Episode 9 airing Thursday 17th October 2019.

The second episode was on Tuesday the 20th of October 2020 (Series 8 Episode 10). It got postponed in April 2020 at the last minute due to breaking coronavirus news. He reupholstered a drop-arm sofa. The third episode was filmed in May 2021 and aired on Monday 13th June 2.15 pm 2022 (Series 12 episode 6). The fourth episode was filmed in March 2022 and broadcast on the 24th of May 2023 (Series 14 Episode 5).
