Morgan Pressel is an American professional golfer. Pressel plays on the LPGA Tour. She started playing golf at the age of 8. She was born in Tampa, Florida, the United States, where she attended Banyan Creek Elementary School, Omni Middle School, and graduated in 2006 from the Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton. Pressel had a very colorful amateur career, during her amateur career she won several titles and awards such as the North and South Women’s Amateur at Pinehurst, the U.S. Women’s Amateur, she was also awarded as the 2005 Girls Rolex Junior Player of the Year. At the age of 12, Pressel became the youngest player to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Open, in 2001. In 2006, she won the AJGA Nancy Lopez Award.
