Cydney Clanton is an American professional golfer. Clanton competed on the LPGA Tour and the Symetra Tour. She is a one time LPGA Tour champion, and have won twice on the Symetra Tour. She started playing golf at age 10. During her amateur career, she played golf at Auburn University where she won twice. Clanton as well won the North and South Women’s Amateur. She was also in the team that won the 2010 Curtis Cup, where she won two matches and halved a third. Clanton was also in the team that represented the U.S. at the 2010 Espirito Santo Trophy that finished second to the South Korea team. She was named the 2008 NGCA Freshman Player of the Year.

In 2011, she turned professional and played on the Symetra Tour that year. She won her LPGA Tour card for 2012 through the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. She finished tied for ninth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she earned Priority List Category 11 for the 2012 LPGA season. Clanton has played on both tours since winning the 2013 Four Winds Invitational and 2019 Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout on the Symetra Tour and the 2019 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational on the LPGA Tour. Clanton coupled up with Jasmine Suwannapura, as the Dow tournament was a team event. She attended Concord High School.
