She tweeted: “I am heartbroken to tell everyone that @MikeTagliereNFL passed away peacefully last night. We are so thankful for your support and prayers over these past weeks. Tags appreciated all of you more than you could know.”
Tagliere was known as a fantasy football analyst and writer for FantasyPros. FantasyPros paid tribute to Tagliere in the following statement: “Words cannot express our level of grief over the loss of our teammate and friend Mike Tagliere. He was a loving husband and father, an unparalleled fantasy football analyst, and, most importantly, a wonderful and kind person. He was the heart and soul of FantasyPros and beloved by fantasy managers, his industry colleagues, and his co-workers. We are heartbroken.”

Mike Tagliere died after a battle with COVID-19. Tagliere revealed on August 9, 2021, that he had contracted the virus and was dealing with severe symptoms despite being fully vaccinated. Tagliere wrote on Twitter: “I tested positive for Covid late last week and have been dealing with severe symptoms (yes, I’m vaccinated). The quarantine timeline would’ve allowed me to go on Saturday, but it’s way too close for comfort with so many people attending.”
On August 19, 2021, his wife added: “Hi everybody, as many know from his last tweet @MikeTagliereNFL has Covid. Unfortunately, he has spent the last 9 days in the hospital. I firmly believe in the power of prayer and so I’m asking for your prayers and positive vibes for him and our family. Thank you soo much!”
