Marta Martin is a Spanish professional golfer from Madrid. She currently competes on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Symetra Tour. As an amateur, she won the Junior Open of Madrid in June 2013 and the 2012 Spain Cadet Reale. She recorded several top-10 finishes including; at the Belgian International Junior Championship where she finished 9th, the XXIV Grand Prix de Ciberta where she finished 7th, the Annika Invitational finished 8th, and at the International Amateur Ladies Stroke Play tournament in Orihuela, Spain. Martin led the Madrid Federation team to record a runner-up finish at the 2013 Spanish championships. She has also played for the Spanish national team.
She played her collegiate at Purdue University. During her freshman, she played in all 12 varsity events, averaging 74.9 strokes per round. Martin also earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors after posting the Boilermakers’ top score at the Big Ten Championships. During her sophomore, she played in 11 events, averaging 75.48 strokes over 31 rounds. She also earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. Martin played in the 2017 European Ladies’ Amateur Championship in Switzerland during her junior year.
After turning professional, she played on the Symetra Tour. In 2019, her rookie year on the Symetra Tour, she played 12 events and made three cuts. Martin graduated from IES Ortega y Gasset Blume. She graduated from Purdue University where she majored in turf management and science.
