Leonie Harm is a German professional golfer from Stuttgart. She currently competes on the Ladies European Tour (LET). Harm began playing golf at the age of 2 years old. She had a very decorated amateur career, some of Leonie Harm’s amateur career highlights include; winning at the 2014 German National Amateur, the 2015 German International Amateur, German Girls Open, and German National Amateur. She won the 2017 Texas State Invitational and in 2018 she won at the German International Amateur and British Ladies Amateur becoming the first golfer from Germany to win the British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship in the event’s history. In 2019, she won the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate, Clover Cup, and The American Championship. She also played at the 2018 Women’s British Open and 2019 U.S. Women’s Open as an amateur.
Harm has made several team appearances including; the 2015 Junior Solheim Cup representing Europe, she was in the European Ladies’ Team Championship representing Germany in 2016, 2017, and 2018. She was a member of the German team at the 2018 Espirito Santo Trophy, In 2019, she was a member of the victorious International team at the Arnold Palmer Cup. She was also in the Europe-winning team at the 2019 Vagliano Trophy.
Upon getting her Ladies European Tour status, Harm turned professional in early 2020. She is currently playing on the Ladies European Tour. Harm graduated from Privatgymnasium St. Leon Rot and later enrolled at the University of Houston where she played her collegiate golf with the Houston Cougars. While there, she was a four-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and led the Cougars to three conference titles. She was also the 2017 Texas State Invitational Champion and the 2019 Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship Co-Champion. Harm majored in biochemical and biophysical sciences, she graduating with honors in 2019. When she is not on the golf course, Harm enjoys working out.
