Margie Cooper is an English antique dealer, antiques expert on BBC’s Antiques Road Trip and former fashion model. She has been a regular fixture on BBC ’s Antiques Roadshow since 1985 and is also one of the regular experts and presenter of the channel’s spin-off show Antiques Road Trip.

Born in Lancashire in 1949, Margie began her career as a fashion model but was always immersed in the world of antiques and objects d’art. Her grandmother was an antique dealer and she carried on the family tradition by opening her own business in the 1980s.

Margie studied journalism and contributes to many local magazines as well as the BBC’s Homes and Antiques magazine.
