Esther Henseleit is a German professional golfer who plays on the LPGA and Ladies European Tour. She has been a member of the German National Team since 2014, won the bronze medal at the International Women’s Amateur Championship in 2016 and was nominated for the Junior Solheim Cup in 2017. In 2019, Esther started playing as Professional Golfer on the Ladies European Tour. As a highlight of her young professional career, she won the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit 2019 and the Rookie of the Year Award.

Henseleit started playing golf at the age of 9 after she accompanied her mother to the golf course for the first time. She was immediately enthusiastic about the sport and so she started to play golf at the Golfclub am Meer. In 2013, she moved from Golf Club am Meer to Hamburg Golf Club Falkenstein. She decided to take this step because she expected a better long-term prospects for her development through the presence of the women’s team in the first league. She has been a member of the German National Team since 2014, won the bronze medal at the International Women’s Amateur Championship in 2016 and was nominated for the Junior Solheim Cup in 2017.

In 2017, Esther played for Team Europe at the PING Junior Solheim Cup. On FEBRUARY 24, 2019, the Ladies Classic Bonville tournament was the first event on the Ladies European Tour where Esther competed as a professional golfer. On December 9, 2019, she won the LET Order of Merit and the title Rookie of the Year due to her first LET win in Kenya and her sensational finishes in her very first season as Professional Golfer, making her only the third player after Laura Davies in 1985 and Carlota Ciganda in 2012 to accomplish this feat.
