Jennifer Chang is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. She graduated from the Athens Drive Magnet High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. While there she was North Carolina’s first four-time state high school champion between 2014 and 2017. While in high school Chang was one of the top juniors in the United States and ranked among the top 100 amateurs in the world.
Chang was a finalist at the 2017 U.S. Junior Girls’ Championships and earned an exemption into the 2017 U.S. Women’s Amateur. In 2017, she finished second at the AJGA Polo Golf Junior Classic, competed at the PING Junior Solheim Cup, and participated in her second Wyndam Cup in a row. Chang attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California where she is majoring in BS in Corporate Communications. She played two seasons at the University of Southern California where she won three times.
In 2019, she was in the 2019 -First Team All-American. Chang finished 2nd at the 2017 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship and was the 2019 AGC Women’s Player of the Year. In 2019, Chang finished T9 at the LPGA Q-Series to earn status for the 2020 LPGA Tour season. In 2020, her rookie year, she played in the LPGA Tour, where she played 13 events and made 5 cuts. She made cuts at the LPGA Drive On Championship, the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open, the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by Procter & Gamble, the Cambia Portland Classic, and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
