Marci Whitaker is a civil engineer and the wife of acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker.
Marci has a B.S. civil engineering degree from the University of Iowa. She holds a Professional Engineer license in Iowa. She has worked for MC2H20, an Iowa based water treatment company, since 2011. She worked for consulting engineering firms in Minnesota and Iowa for 18 years prior to joining Mc2.
Her past design experience includes wastewater treatment design, biosolids treatment, biogas handling, odor control and disinfection.
Marci is a member of WEF and is the newsletter committee chair for IAWEA.

She is married to her husband Matthew Whitaker. The couple met while they were both students at Ankeny High School in Ankeny, Iowa.
