Lyu Masuda is an Australian professional dancer and model. Together with his former partner Siobhan Power, they won the 2017 South Australian Champions. In 2021, it was announced that Masuda will take part in The nineteenth season of the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars, also known as Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars 2. Masuda is also a professional model and he is signed with Vivien’s Model Management.
Masuda started dancing at an early age and she had a decent career as an amateur dancer. In 2014, she started his partnership with his fellow Latin American dancer, Siobhan Power. The couple enjoyed much success as partners, they went on to be crowned Nova Dancesport Classic Champions two years in a row. They also partnered in several national and international dance competitions including at the 2014 International Open and at the 2015 International Open in Melbourne – Australia. The couple finished in sixth and seventh place respectively. They were also New Zealand Latin American Champions and Australian Latin American Finalists. The couple has also served as dance teachers. They retired from professional competitions on 06 October 2018.
