James Magnussen is a former Australian swimmer. He is a two-time 100-metre Freestyle World Champion and Olympic medallist. He won seven gold, five silver and three bronze medals spanning Olympic Games, World Championships, Commonwealth Games and Pan Pacific Championships.
Nicknamed The Missile, Magnussen became a household name in 2011 at the age of 20 when he won the 100-metre freestyle at the World Champions in Shanghai, at 47.10. He was the first Australian to win the men’s 100m freestyle world title.
He retired from swimming in June 2019 after gold at the Brisbane Commonwealth Games in 2018, and his time of 47.10 is the fifth fastest 100-metre freestyle swim in history.

Should be sweet. I haven’t experienced it before but it’s not like I’m an expert in dancing or have an opinion on technique.
Do you have any fun dancing anecdotes?
I always get chosen for crowd participation at events. The last time this happened I had to get up and dance with belly dancers at a Brazilian restaurant. It was a disaster!
What do you think your dance partner’s biggest challenge will be?
Getting my large frame to look less awkward.

Take your pick! There are a dozen other talented celebrities who have probably had more experience than me.
