Kymberly Herrin was an American actress and model, who famously appeared in 1984’s Ghostbusters and Romancing the Stone. She graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1975. She went on to be a model, graced the cover of over a dozen magazines, both local and international. Kymberly also appeared in several well-known movies, including Ghostbusters and Romancing the Stone.

The former model appeared on the cover of dozens of magazines throughout her career, including the March 1981 issue of Playboy, where she was crowned Playmate of the Month. She also modeled for a series of fitness and swimwear ads for FIT magazine.

Herrin starred in a handful of films, including the original 1984 Ghostbusters starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Harold Ramis, and Sigourney Weaver, playing the Dream Ghost, a seductive apparition that Aykroyd’s character Ray Stantz encounters during a particularly raunchy sequence. Harrin also starred in Romancing the Stone, Beverly Hills Cop II (as a Playboy playmate), and Road House.

Kymberly is well remembered for playing a paranormal character who shared an intimate scene with Dan Aykroyd in Ghostbusters. While the project was released in 1984, Dan recently looked back on working with Kymberly.

“I remember the woman who played that. Her name was Kym Herrin, and she was a Playboy Playmate,” Dan told Polygon in 2021. “She played the ghost. Like, I wish they’d let that scene go a little longer.”

Ramirez shared a photo on Facebook of her aunt with her two late sisters and the caption: “They are all together now. Aunt Kymberly Herrin. I love you.”
