Kristie Williams is a professional dancer and Choreographer from New Zealand. She is known for her appearances as a professional dancer in New Zealand’s Dancing with the Stars. She is the wife of Jonny Williams, a fellow professional dancer. Kristie has been dancing since she started walking and at 2, she competed in Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. She went on to capture several Scholarships and Championships.
At 15, she won the prestigious Noel Burnett Tap Award and reached the finals at the New Zealand Young Performer of The Year Awards. She has appeared in several New Zealand television shows and events including TV ONE’s Stars in their Eyes, the 2008 Qantas Film and Television Awards, and was a Honey Bee on the Singing Bee Television Show. Kristie also performed at the opening of the 2008 Netball World Cup.

Some of her professional dancing career highlights include finishing sixth in the Asian Pacific World Cup and placing second in the World for New Vogue. The couple has also represented New Zealand in several countries including Australia, Japan, China, and the USA.
Kristie and Jonny have also been New Zealand’s Professional National Titleholders for Ballroom, Latin, and New Vogue throughout their time as professional dancers. The two retired in 2016. Kristie currently teaches Tap, Jazz, Ballroom, Latin, and New Vogue. She also works as a Freelance Dance Choreographer and Coach.
