Jonny Williams is a Ballroom, Latin, and New Vogue professional dancer from Kumeu, West Auckland. The former dance titleholder is also a dance teacher. He is the husband of Kristie Williams, a renowned Tap, Jazz, Ballroom, Latin, and New Vogue professional dancer. Jonny is well known for his appearances as a professional dancer in New Zealand’s version of Dancing with the Stars.

Jonny started dancing at an early age and he is a remarkable dancer. He is experienced in Ballroom, Latin, and New Vogue. During his competitive dancing career, he was partnering with Kristie Williams (now his wife). Some of their professional career highlights include recording a sixth-place finish at the Asian Pacific World Cup and finishing second at the World for New Vogue. They also represented their country in international dance competitions and events in Australia, Japan, China, and the United States. The couple has been New Zealand’s Professional National Titleholders for Ballroom, Latin, and New Vogue throughout their time as professional dancers. They retired from their competitive careers in 2016.
