Jean’s passion for food comes from the fact that she is from a food truck family. The young chef told Eater Austin about her excitement about joining the series, saying that the experience was “so much fun:”
“When I was little, I loved pretending to be on the show and cooking. It was so much fun. I was excited because I was confident. You know what? I think I’m going to get in.”
