Asher Niles is a Yakima, Washington native and contestant on Season 9 of MasterChef Junior.
Each young chef will compete in a series of challenges and must impress host and executive producer Ramsay, as well as mentor and chef Aarón Sánchez, wellness advocate and author Daphne Oz, and mentor Tilly Ramsay.
The winner of “MasterChef Junior” takes home the title of America’s Next MasterChef Junior, a trophy, and a cash prize of $100,000.
In an interview, Asher expressed that his food Dream is to become a chef and write a cookbook. At 8, he and Jordyn are the youngest contestants of season 9. Young Chef Asher and his father hosted a cooking demonstration at the Central Washington State Fair back in September 2023.

In an Instagram post, he announced his casting on the show writing, “The cats out of the bag!! I’m gonna be on @masterchefjunior on Fox, joining my dad @the.fatpastor in the MasterChef family!!
