Kate Bilo is an American meteorologist. She serves as the morning and noon meteorologist at the Eyewitness News weather team on CBS 3. Bilo joined the Eyewitness News weather team on CBS 3 and The CW Philly as the Chief Meteorologist in October 2010. Bilo is a resident of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, United States. She started her meteorologist career at AccuWeather in State College, Pennsylvania where she had been a meteorologist since 2004. While at AccuWeather, she provided forecasts on TV and radio for numerous AccuWeather clients including FOX News, CNBC, ABC News Now, and several local stations. Bilo had also been the main morning weather anchor for the Bloomberg Television Network.
During her free time she enjoys reading books, she sets a goal to read 100 books each year. In her effort to help children develop a love of reading, Bilo also likes traveling, bike riding, and taking long walks. Bilo attended the Penn State University, where she graduated in 2003, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish and International Business. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University.
