Kaan Urgancioglu is a Turkish actor who is best known for his television roles, including Acayip Hikayeler, Avrupa Yakasi, and Leyla ile Mecnun. He is best known for playing Emir Kozcuoglu in Endless Love. He has also been cast in films like 2007’s Son Ders: Ask ve Üniversite and 2015’s Uzaklarda Arama. He has been an actor on television and cinema since the year 2002. He went to study at the Private Turkish College Secondary School and the American College.
After graduating from high school, he went to Istanbul in 2000 and studied at Marmara University‘s Finance Department. The actor started to study cinema as well as university education. After 7 years he graduated. While still at university in 2002, he began his work as an actor on the recommendation of actress Demet Akbag, who was a family friend. In 2008, he went to the United States and studied acting there for 6 months. He also took a part in a play, “Ara” directed by Cetin Sarikartal in 2011. He studied at the Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York and also has a master’s degree from the Film And Drama department in Kadir Has University Istanbul. The actor had his first role starring on Karaoglan, which was broadcast on Kanal D TV. He starred on Leyla ile Mecnun, which won Best Comedy Series at the Omi 2. Media Awards.
