Jowita Przystał is a Polish ballroom dancer. She was the 2020 winner of The Greatest Dancer. Jowita is a contestant on the 19th series of the British television dance contest, Strictly Come Dancing. She came to the limelight after joining Strictly Come Dancing. Jowita began dancing at the age of 6. However, the other types of dances did not work out well for her until her parents took her to ballroom classes aged 12 that she fell in love with.

In 2014 Jowita and her partner, Michael Danilczuk became Polish Open Latin Champions. They also represented Poland in National and International competitions. Together with her partner, they have performed with Burn the Floor. The couple has also performed in Broadway musical productions such as Legally Blonde, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and Rock of Ages. In 2019, the couple moved to the United Kingdom to pursue a career.

In 2020, they appeared on The Greatest Dancer. Przystał and Danilczuk were crowned winners of the second series. In September 2021, Przystał joined the nineteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing. Speaking about joining the Strictly Come Dancing, Jowita told BBC; ” This is my biggest dream come true!.” She added, “No words can describe how I feel right now. I’m still pinching myself to check if this is real but I am beyond excited to be joining the Strictly Come Dancing family and I can’t wait to give all of my heart and soul on that dance floor!”
