Jordan Vandergriff is a Professional Race Car Driver and a reality television personality from Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. He is currently a Top Fuel Driver at Bob Vandergriff Racing. He is from a Racing family but he did not start racing until 2017. Jordan is the nephew of Bob Vandergriff, a former Top Fuel driver and team owner. His uncle is the owner of Bob Vandergriff Racing. Jordan grew up watching his uncle, Bob compete.

He says that uncle Bob Vandergriff has been his racing role model, “I came to the track and watched my uncle race the car, and it was always like what my uncle did, and what our family was involved in. I was young, growing up, and then one day I was around, I must have been 18, 19, I’ve been thinking about this for a few years now. And I thought, ‘You know what, I’ve grown up, I’ve always looked up to my uncle. He’s been my role model, and I’ve always wanted to be like him.

“The opportunity was there, and I felt like I needed to seize the opportunity for myself and see if I could do it. I wanted to do it, and this is what I want to do, and I want to be a great driver and do it for a very long time,” He added.

He was licensed in Super Comp at Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School. In 2019, aged 24, he competed in his rookie season. He raced to a runner-up finish in Dallas and advanced to three semifinal rounds. The young driver has already made a name for himself in NHRA’s Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. Jordan attended Arizona State University – W. P. Carey School of Business.

On March 23, 2022, it was announced that Jordan will be among the 35 young men set to compete in the nineteenth season of ABC’s reality dating show, The Bachelorette. The new series is featuring former Bachelor contestants, Rachel Recchia, a flight instructor from Clermont, Florida, and Gabby Windey, an ICU nurse from O’Fallon, Illinois. The two lead Bachelorettes finished as co-runners-up on the 26th season of The Bachelor featuring Clayton Echard. Susie Evans won the series.
