Jessica Marie Garcia is an American actress, writer, and producer. She is best known for her roles in “Liv and Maddie”, “How To Get Away With Murder” and “On My Block”. She played Willow Cruz on the Disney Channel’s “Liv and Maddie” in 2013. In 2018, she appeared as Rhonda Navarro on ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder”. She currently plays Jasmine on Netflix’s “On My Block,” a coming-of-age series about teens in a diverse Los Angeles neighborhood. Her other credits include Betch, The Middle, and the 2010 TV series, Huge.
According to an Interview with the Huff Post, she grew up watching old-school acting greats such as Elizabeth Taylor and Barbra Streisand. It was after seeing John Leguizamo in “Freak” that she realized that she could do it, too. So she told her mother she wanted to go to a performing arts school.
