Jay Northcott is a Theatre Director, artist, playwright, burlesque dancer, producer, and a reality television personality from Toronto, Ontario. He is known for appearing as a houseguest in the tenth season of Big Brother Canada. On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Big Brother Canada announced that Northcott will take part as a houseguest in the tenth season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother Canada.
Northcott joined the house on Day one together with the other fifteen houseguests contesting to win the grand prize of $100,000 in Big Brother Canada 10. The show started airing on March 2, 2022, on Global. On Day 13, he was evicted from the house, he was the second houseguest to be evicted from Big Brother Canada 10. Melina Mansing, an Artist from Toronto, Ontario was the first to be evicted on Day six. Northcott became the eighth Canadian houseguest to never vote with the majority.
Speaking about his eviction, Northcott said via a social media post, “I was always taught to lead with joy. The day I got evicted for doing just that was real emotional.I have such amazing #bbcan family. I have been having a hard time with the overwhelming love and support, I am so looking forward to the future.The #Themperor will rise again.”
