Jas Waters, also known as Jas Fly, was an American writer, former journalist, and television personality. She wrote for Jim Carrey’s new Showtime comedy, Kidding, the NBC drama, This Is Us, the late-night sketch comedy, The James David Show (Comedy Central) and the 1 hour ‘90’s Hip Hop drama, The Breaks (Vh1).
In 2013, Waters co-starred in the Vh1 reality series, Gossip Game, chronicling the lives of seven women in Hip Hop media. She also co-starred in a popular YouTube webseries, JumpOff TV’s Debate Lounge with over 2 million subscribers and 20 million views.
Waters spent 9 years working in Film Production and Television Development, on everything from Spiderman 1 & 2, Hardball, Save The Last Dance, MTV’s Real World, Barbershop 1 & 2 and the NBC’s ER.
