Ibz Biography – Ibz Wiki
Ibraheem is a contestant on season 18 of MasterChef UK on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Prior to joining the MasterChef 2022, he was a Retail Supervisor in London.
Asked about his Food Inspiration, the MasterChef contestant told the BBC: “My West Indian Guyanese and Jamaican heritage is the main source of my inspiration. Many of the dishes from Guyana and Jamaica have a deep-rooted history. Every dish from Oxtail and Curry Goat to Guyanese Vegetable Choka has a beautiful and sometimes even dark story, but I feel like it deserves to be celebrated and elevated to level that maybe French or Italian cuisine is seen at.”
Speaking about why he applied to go on MasterChef, he said: “I’ve watched MasterChef and the main thing that I love is seeing was watching how home cooks grow and blossom into these amazing cooks. I saw it as amazing chance for me to immerse myself in an environment where I could also learn something about myself as well as do something I’m truly passionate about.”

Ibraheem is a MasterChef UK 2022 contestant. The home cook announced his appearance on the BBC competition in an Instagram post. He wrote:
“Yooo your boy finna be on TV I had the pleasure of participating in series 18 of #masterchefuk it is honestly a honour. Thank you to all the people that support and believe in my dreams. After his elimination from the cooking competition, Ibz wrote on Instagram: “I just wanted to say how gutted I am to be leaving the Masterchef kitchen. Being in that environment was truly amazing. Thank you to everyone that has shown me so much love and support!
“Thank you @johntorodecooks @greggawallace I for the amzing advice and feedback you’ve given me on the way. Since leaving Masterchef I’ve jumped head first into 2 professional kitchens at the @thesunofcamberwell and @therosese14 thank you to head chefs Nathaniel and Mark for taking me under their wing and allowing me to chase my dream.
“I am enjoying every second I’m in the kitchen and learning loads!! Thank you guys for watching me and supporting the love has been insane. I promise this won’t be last you see of me.”
